You are going to need at least 3 days for this trip. Williamsburg is what I would call Disneyland for history. You can do it in 2 days, but it will be rushed.

I found a great deal on the internet through the wiliamsburg site. The deal included rooms at the lodge and tickets to the Historic district. I found the site that showed the historic sites ticket to be valued at 30 per adult. It also included 150.00 gift certificate. The catch? The visitor has to spend it in the historic district. That wasn't hard since prices are pretty much double the prices of other stores outside the Williamsburg historic area. Purchas lunch and dinner for two and the 150.00 is almost gone.

WoW!!! it's March 4, 2009 and I'm in New Bern, North Carolina.

It is nice here, but the temperature is 29 degrees outside. If I could post a pic then you would see that it looks like it's 80 with all the boats and birds, but don't let that fool you.

New Bern is one of those historic towns with a lot of Governor Mansions and Plantations. If you are into that stuff then you will really enjoy yourself. If you are into theme parks, rides and attractions then you have come to the wrong place. You would be better suited to head south to Myrtle Beach.

I'm about to go out and sample some of the local cuisine. I've been here before and the seafood is ausome, although I just checked Yahoo maps and there isn't a sushi joint for 50 miles.

Area 15 is a Charlotte art movement located at North Davidson and 15th Street in the NODA district.

There are a few good places to eat in Charlotte for lunch here is one I consider pretty good. The best day to go is on Friday when they have Chicken Marco Polo.
